Nick and Louise
Nick Graves has been the minister at OLLBC since 2010. He and Louise have been married since 1996 and have four daughters, Jessica, Lydia, Emily and Rachel.
Before entering the ministry, Nick worked as a Crisp Taster for KP Foods on Teesside for nine years and is an expert on Hula Hoops. His calling is to “minister to the whole community and not just those who come to Sunday services”.
Steve and Tami
Steve and Tami Harrington moved to Croydon from America at the end of 2015 with their teenage daughters, Abbie and Tiffany (their older son, Bryan, still lives in the States).
Steve and Tami have served 20-plus years in local church ministry in Michigan and Texas and are here to help Old Lodge Lane serve and bless the surrounding community with the grace, truth, and love of Jesus.
A big welcome to Logan Turner, the newest member of the team at Old Lodge Lane Baptist Church. Logan arrived in mid-January from the USA to work with us as church community worker for the next three years.
Patti Boyle is a qualified lawyer and runs the Big Love Foundation, a registered charity which works closely with OLLBC. She has lived in Old Lodge Lane for 30 years with husband Tom.
Nigel Davidson manages the CAP Croydon South Debt Centre. Nigel and wife Cress have two sons, Robert and Martin. Nigel works at the BT Exchange in Brighton Road and also spends a couple of days a week on Debt Centre work.
Sam Ackerman is based at Purley Baptist Church and is training to become a minister. He does a lot of pastoral work at OLLBC and generally helps out with the glamorous background stuff like setting up the Thursday Tea.
Carl Homberg is a church elder, a retired US Marine Colonel and a former FBI special agent attached to the American Embassy in London. Carl and wife Linda have lived locally for the last fifteen years.
